Food Safety

While we aim to bring you delicious-tasting boba whenever you desire, we also care about your health and safety. Things that taste good shouldn’t have to be unhealthy. Thus, we produce our products in rigorous and standardized environments. We’ve done extensive research and development with the Taiwan Food Industry Research and Development Institute (FIRDI) to manufacture authentic and delicious instant boba through an innovative ten-step process below.

Our factories are subject to food safety standards, and they are fully compliant with ISO and HACCP certifications. Since we also export products to American, Canadian, and Japanese supermarkets, we have been complying with various regulations of each country as well.

(ISO)
The International Organization for Standardization (ISO) is an independent, non-governmental organization. It is the world’s largest developer of voluntary international standards and it facilitates world trade by providing common standards among nations. More than twenty thousand standards have been set, covering everything from manufactured products and technology to food safety, agriculture, and healthcare. ISO 22000 integrates the principles of the Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point (HACCP) system and application steps developed by the Codex Alimentarius Commission.

(HACCP)
Hazard analysis and critical control points, or HACCP is a systematic preventive approach to food safety and pharmaceutical safety that identifies physical, allergenic, chemical, and biological hazards in production processes that can cause the finished product to be unsafe, and designs measurements to reduce these risks to a safe level. In this manner, HACCP is referred to as the prevention of hazards rather than finished product inspection.

(FSSC)
The Foundation Food Safety System Certification 22000 (FSSC 22000) offers a complete certification Scheme for the auditing and certification of Food Safety Management Systems (FSMS) or FSMS and Quality Management Systems (FSSC 22000-Quality).
